Referral Fees Schedule

Referral Fees & Commission Disclosure
Last Updated: 3 March 2026

In accordance with the Estate Agents Act 1979 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, Wilkie May & Tuckwood is required to disclose any financial interest or referral fee arrangement we may have with third-party service providers. We believe in complete transparency. Clients are under no obligation to use any recommended service provider and are free to choose their own solicitor, mortgage adviser, surveyor or other professional. Where a client chooses to use one of our recommended partners, we may receive a referral fee as detailed below.

Solicitors

We may receive £150 + VAT per transaction, payable upon legal completion, from:

– Setfords Solicitors

– Risdons Solicitors

– Nexa Law

– Berensens Solicitors

– Lyons Bowe Solicitors

Mortgage & Financial Advice

– Blackdown Financial – We receive 20% of any fee paid by the client to Blackdown Financial, payable upon completion of the mortgage transaction.

Surveys

– Stirling Ackroyd – We receive £75 per completed survey following a successful referral, payable upon completion.

Important Information:

Referral fees are paid to us by the third-party provider. The referral fee does not affect your ability to negotiate fees directly with the provider. You are not required to use our recommended services. Our recommendations are based on service levels, communication standards and local expertise — not solely on referral income. If you would like further information regarding any referral arrangement, please contact our office and we will be happy to provide additional detail.
