Cullompton Office

Cullompton is a small country town situated beside the River Culm which flows from its source in the Somerset Blackdown Hills to join the River Exe, north of Exeter. The town and its surrounding area is famous for its working textile and paper mills. A fine example is Coldharbour Mill, a 200 year old spinning mill set in the tranquil village of Uffculme. Cullompton is an ancient market town and still retains its old market place known as 'the Bull Ring.' A market is still held here in what is considered the heart of the town. Much of Cullompton is now designated a Conservation Area, protecting a wide variety of important buildings. These include The Manor House built in 1603 and the 15th century Church of St Andrew. A visit to this church is highly recommended.

Cullompton also enjoys excellent access to other parts of the West Country and the rest of the UK. The nearby M5 is the main link between the West Country and the Midlands. Exeter can be reached in 20 minutes, Taunton in 30 minutes and Bristol in 75 minutes. Both Exeter and Bristol have their own airports offering an ever growing selection of national and international flights. There is a main line railway station, Tiverton Parkway, some 6 miles distant from where the journey to London can be made in just over 2 hours.
